Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

dailyrecord.co.ukJoin thousands of others who have signed up for the Daily Record newsletter.A team of determined parents are working together during the summer holidays to upgrade their children’s playground.Lochwinnoch Primary School’s drab and grey playground has lain virtually unchanged for years but the parent council has been working alongside teaching staff to try and improve it.A community event, dubbed TEAM Playground – Together Everyone Achieves More – had to be scrapped due to the lockdown but parents were keen to do what they could to freshen up the outside space ahead of the children’s return in August.A team of around 40 went along to paint, clean, plant and tidy up the playground earlier this month and another clean-up day is planned for.
