Stu has had no contact with his daughter Bridget for years but he has finally managed to track her down.He begged for Bridget to let him be part of her life, claiming that he "didn’t hurt that girl".Stu has dabbled in crime in the past, but is he a violent man?Speaking about his new storyline, actor Bill told Metro: "It’s a massive year and I’m right in the middle of the storm and I think it continues for some while trying to get this sorted out because it’s so well written, they’re making it real.

The mechanic's intrigued, aware that his love rival is meant to be in Leeds.Also, Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) buys some tickets from Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) for the charity raffle in memory of little Oliver and he wins wins a romantic night for two in her hotel.While Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) packs, Tim orders some erectile dysfunction tablets, ignoring the warning about heart conditions.At the hotel, as Tim and Sally kiss passionately, Tim’s heart starts to pound and he becomes short of breath.Tim confesses to Sally that he’s taken an erectile dysfunction tablet and collapses on the bed.

Coronation Street youngster Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) finds herself in danger next week.When Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) tackles her in Victoria Gardens, a pale Summer loses her temper and tells Amy to back off.Meanwhile, Jacob Hay (Jack James Ryan) has taken advantage of Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) over-ordering alcopops and, having bought them, is selling them in Victoria Gardens for a profit to pay the rent.Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) reports Jacob to the police and as they arrive at Victoria Gardens, Jacob does a runner leaving the final two boxes of alcopops on the bench.The police officers find Summer slumped on the bench next to the boxes of alcopops and assuming her to be drunk and take her down to the station.Amy and Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) call at the police station and tell Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) about Summer's arrest and how they suspect she might be suffering from her diabetes.Craig hurries to the cells where he finds Summer in a diabetic coma. Fearing the worst, Craig shouts for someone to call an ambulance.Elsewhere, Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) returns from Gina’s to find Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) and Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) ensconced in front of the TV.Realising that Elaine has got her feet well and truly under the table, Sally’s miffed.When Sally asserts that it’s time Elaine moved out so they can spend some time in the bedroom, Tim hides his anxiety.Sally finally bites the bullet and suggests to Elaine it is time she moved out.As they see her off Tim is sad to see her go whilst Sally can’t wait to take advantage of the empty house.
