Star Wars actor John Boyega has been announced as the latest addition to Madame Tussauds wax museum in London.The actor, 30, who was born John Adedayo Bamidele Adegboyega, found fame internationally for his role as Finn in the Star Wars sequel trilogy films: The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker, and has since gone on to appear in Small Axe, Detroit and Pacific Rim: Uprising.He is now set to be immortalised as a wax figure at London’s historic tourist attraction, with the news being announced on March 17 – his 30th birthdayPeckham-born Boyega, who has let his interest in starring in a Bridgerton-style period drama be known, attended a sitting in September last year with Madame Tussauds London’s artists, during which precise measurements and reference photographs were taken.The Golden Globe winner’s wax figure will be unveiled at the Baker Street attraction this summer, where he will join fellow stars including Dwayne Johnson, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Benedict Cumberbatch, Nicole Kidman and Tom Hardy in Madame Tussauds London’s Awards Party zone.Speaking about the experience, Boyega said: ‘Madame Tussauds London is a place that I’ve always heard about since I was a kid, it is part of our culture. It represents our country and the individuals in our country, the best way and it’s fun.

A cause of death of has not been announced.Having first embarked on his acting career in his early adolescence, in 1955, Considine first started playing the role of Spin in Disney’s Spin and Marty, a series of TV shorts that aired as part of The Mickey Mouse Club show of the mid-1950s.He also appeared in the Hardy Boys serial with Tommy Kirk, playing the older brother out of the pair, named Frank.As a young adult, Considine starred in My Three Sons, playing the eldest son Mike Douglas for five years from 1960 to 1965, before his character was written out of the show.The late actor’s exit from the programme came about after he expressed a wish to direct rather than star in the series, subsequently resulting in him choosing not to renew his contract.Some of his other roles included appearing in the Disney motion picture The Shaggy Dog, Disney show The Swamp Fox and playing Franklin D Roosevelt’s eldest son James in the 1960 film Sunrise at Campobello.In 1970, Considine delivered an unforgettable performance in the film Patton, depicting a shell-shocked soldier who was slapped by the general, in a role known simply as ‘Soldier Who Gets Slapped’.He was officially dubbed a Disney Legend 16 years ago, with Disney stating: ‘The film and television actor was named a Disney Legend, an illustrious honor given to individuals in recognition of their extraordinary contributions to The Walt Disney Company, in 2006.’On Disney’s website, it includes a quote from Considine about what it was like to grow up in the spotlight, where he said: ‘It was generally a pretty good experience for me.

EastEnders star Frankie Fitzgerald is utterly unrecognisable over 20 years on from first appearing on our telly screens in the BBC soap.The 37-year-old actor portrayed Ashley Cotton on the BBC One soap, who was best known as the son of Walford lout Nasty Nick Cotton (John Altman).Frankie joined the soap as Ashley in 2000, with the character previously portrayed by actor Rossi Higgins.The half-brother of Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero) turned up on Albert Square as a wild teenager and boarded with his father and Dot Cotton (June Brown), though it wasn't long before he ran into trouble.Following in his father's footsteps and under his tutelage, Ashley soon started taking drugs.He also carried out robberies with his villainous dad but Ashley's shenanigans came to a head one fateful evening in 2001.In an episode which was broadcast in June that year, the troubled youngster stole his dad Nick's enemy Mark Fowler's motorbike after having an argument with him in the Queen Vic.What the 17-year-old wasn't aware of at the time was that Nick had tampered with the brakes on Mark's bike in an attempt to kill Mark.As a result, Ashley crashed Mark's bike into the launderette and was instantly killed.Following his EastEnders death, Frankie landed a role in Sky One football drama Dream Team and today, he remains a successful working actor.His acting credits involve appearances on other BBC One soaps Holby City and Casualty and over recent years, Frankie has established a career in film.One of his major roles has been in kids' series Harry and Cosh.In 2015, the actor appeared as Jack Dickson alongside Tom Hardy in Legend and in 2019, he starred alongside Dev Patel and Tilda Swinton in The Personal History of David Copperfield.
