Sepultura to fill the vacant drummer position in Slipknot. In February Casagrande left the Brazilian metal band, who will be splitting up after a farewell tour starting this year. This led to heavy speculation that he would be joining Slipknot following the firing of Jay Weinberg late last year.Casagrande recently gave an interview to Brazil’s Veja Sao Paulo which was translated from his native Portuguese by fans on Reddit. He revealed that he asked about playing in both bands but had to leave Sepultura after being told he would have to be exclusive to Slipknot.“They asked me to record and send them some videos from right here in Brazil,” he said.

Ex-Chelsea nightmare Diego Costa close to signing for new club after reaching agreement
Chelsea striker Diego Costa is closing in on a new club after agreeing a deal with Brazilian side Corinthians. The 33-year-old has been a free agent ever since his contract with Atletico Mineiro was terminated six weeks ago.Costa had only spent a few months with the club, netting seven goals in 26 games to guide them to their first league title for over 50 years.According to reports, he'd been holding out for a move back to Europe, where he had successful stints with both Chelsea and Atletico Madrid, and had been shelving offers from various clubs while "waiting for one in particular that never came."But after considering his options, the Brazilian-born Spain international has opted to join Corinthians where he'll play under former Porto and Fenerbahce boss Vitor Pereira. It's understood that he's asking for wages of around £46,000-a-week and will sign an 18 month deal with the Sao Paulo-based side.Costa was linked with a move back to the Premier League in January, with Arsenal and Newcastle United among the interested clubs, but a transfer never materialised.Could Diego Costa do a better job up front for Chelsea than Romelu Lukaku? Let us know in the comments section...The bruiser spent three seasons at Stamford Bridge, winning two Premier League titles and a League Cup during his short but memorable stint in English football. He developed a reputation for being a 'master of the dark arts' and frequently clashed with opponents and got into scuffles - though curiously he was never sent off as a Chelsea player.Costa bagged 59 goals in 120 matches for the Blues and quickly endeared himself to fans, before being controversially exiled by Antonio Conte in 2017 and eventually sold back to Atletico Madrid.

Meet the World Cup-winning goalkeeper who scored over 100 goals in his career
World Cup winner who scored over 100 goals - the likes of Pele, Ronaldo or Ronaldinho spring to mind. But those football greats never achieved those feats while playing in goal like Rogerio Ceni did.The goalkeeper marksman, as he was dubbed in his home country, had a simply phenomenal career which frankly defies logic. He bagged 131 goals across a 25-year spell with Sao Paulo, with 61 free-kicks and 70 penalties in 121 different matches. And there is even conflicting reports about an open-play strike too.To say Ceni was a set-piece specialist would be a humongous understatement. At this point, you might be thinking - how?!Well it took some time to achieve, because after joining Sao Paulo's youth set-up in 1990, the then 17-year-old spent the first six seasons either as back-up or third choice. He didn't break through until 1997 when number one Zetti moved on and new manager Muricy Ramalho gave him a shot.Ceni caught the eye with his ability in front of goal in training.Should more teams let goalkeepers do this?
