READ MORE: Eurovision Song Contest bosses deciding between Liverpool and Glasgow to host eventLast month, a shortlist of seven UK cities was whittled down to Glasgow and Liverpool and Eurovision presenter Graham Norton has now confirmed Liverpool will host next year's show on May 13.Graham revealed the chosen host city during an appearance on The One Show on Friday evening (October 7).Speaking to presenters Alex Jones and Roman Kemp, the RuPaul's Drag Race UK judge, 59, shared the exciting verdict after months of speculation.Initially, six Northern cities and the Scottish location of Glasgow were revealed to be in contention to fill in for a Ukrainian city as host.Alongside Glasgow and Liverpool, these included Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham and Newcastle.Eurovision 2022 was held in Turin, Italy following Italian band Måneskin storming to victory with their song Zitti E Buoni in 2021.Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra won the 2022 contest with their track Stefania but the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) ruled that runner-up the UK should host in Ukraine's place.Reacting to the news on Twitter, fans shared their delighted reactions.One fan wrote: "So glad Liverpool got the Eurovision.
