Football fans, admirers of Liam Payne, and supporters of Adrian Chiles have come together in solidarity after Adrian, 57, faced criticism for his choice of attire at Liam's funeral on Wednesday.

Liam Payne was laid to rest in a private ceremony yesterday, a month after his tragic death at just 31-years-old. Although the funeral wasn't open to the public, photos have emerged from outside St Mary's Church in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, where the service was held. Liam's family and his One Direction bandmates - Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan - were all in attendance.

Adrian Chiles has shared his heartbreak after his father passed away.The TV presenter revealed his dad Peter Chiles died age 86 in early March in a tear-jerking column for The Guardian. Adrian, 56, who formerly hosted BBC's The One Show, explained that his father has suffered a fall and fractured his shoulder on 20 January. Having been discharged from A&E, a few days later he was taken to a "rural community hospital" and passed away six weeks later on 9 March.
