Liverpool installed a steel time capsule at their new AXA Training Centre to mark the opening of their new home. The Reds moved to the facility in Kirkby, after they left their previous home Melwood, after 70 years.Jurgen Klopp’s side have already all moved over to the new site, where they will be joined by players returning home from international duty.To mark the occasion, the champions have placed a serious of items which relate to their illustrious history, in the steel capsule.The hope is that it will teach future generations about what the club was like when they moved in 2020.
A number of items, including a pair of Jurgen Klopp’s glasses, Virgil van Dijk's boots and Alisson Becker’s gloves were placed in the capsule.
