Liverpool could be dealt a massive blow next season, with Mohamed Salah potentially unavailable for selection for up to four months due to the African Cup of Nations and Tokyo Olympics taking place.
Salah has again been the Reds' leading scorer this season, with the 27-year-old netting 16 goals in 26 matches in the Premier League.
But in a worst-case scenario Liverpool could be without him for nearly half the 2020-2021 campaign, in what could prove to be a huge problem for manager Jurgen Klopp.
This is because Egypt bosses are keen for Salah to represent them at the Olympics, which were originally due to take place this summer but have been postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
