Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Jordan Henderson will lift the Premier League trophy despite picking up an injury that rules him out for the rest of season.
The Reds skipper has enjoyed a hugely successful year and come in for regular individual praise. But he limped off in Liverpool's 3-1 win over Brighton and a knee injury will now see him miss his side's remaining four games.
Klopp's side sealed the title over a fortnight ago and the German revealed that his skipper will be the man to hoist the trophy aloft.
He said: "The boys were happy with the result (at Brighton) but then the boys realised Hendo was hurt. "No surgery needed is the good news.
