Jordan Henderson has sent a message to the Liverpool fans after his season was cut short by a knee injury. The Reds' captain has been ever-present for his side this season but will miss the final four matches of their title-winning campaign.
Henderson was substituted during Wednesday's win away at Brighton, having scored Liverpool's second earlier in the match. Initial concerns were that Henderson could miss the start of next season, and although boss Jurgen Klopp remains optimistic, it has been confirmed the midfielder will play no further part for his side this season.
In a message to fans on Twitter, Henderson said: "Unfortunately following the knee injury I picked up against Brighton on Wednesday I will now miss the last two weeks
