Liverpool have submitted planning permission for state-of-the-art fencing at their new £50m training facility in Kirkby.The Reds will have a mesh fence around the perimeter which would screen training from the outside while also protecting them from the environment as Jurgen Klopp aims to replicate matchday conditions at the base.Construction at the site was paused in March due to Covid-19 before being resumer in May as contractors McLaughlin and Harvey let staff back to the site.And the club have now submitted planning permission to Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council to increase security at the club.The material is also translucent, meaning residents in Kirkby will not have an eyesore on Simonswood Lane.It is similar to the barriers.
