Jurgen Klopp has once again warned Liverpool fans not to expect any big-name signings in the transfer window. After their European ban was overturned by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, Manchester City are expected to freshen up their squad, Chelsea have already splashed out £80million on Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech while Manchester United continue to be linked with an expensive deal for Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.
But Klopp does not think the champions will be spending heavily, explaining: “To strengthen the squad you need money and these are uncertain times. "Obviously, uncertain times means for some clubs we cannot do what we would do in non-uncertain times.
