Line of Duty star Martin Compston put on so much weight during lockdown he couldn’t fit into his trademark waistcoats.Filming on the hit drama was suspended last spring when coronavirus hit, seeing Martin going home and overindulging.After returning to the home he shares with wife Tianna Flynn in Las Vegas, Martin, 36, enjoyed plenty of comfort food.And when filming resumed, he was too big for his suits.Martin said: "I couldn't get into them — the suits, the waistcoats, the shirts.
It was horrible. I knew I'd have to lose a bit, but I'd been enjoying lockdown. I'd been doing weights, so I'd totally changed shape."Martin’s weight gain was a major problem for the show because producers needed him to look the same so he could finish filming.
