The BBC one cop drama returned on Sunday night with Adrian Dunbar, Vicky McClure and Martin Compston will all reprising their roles as Superintendent Ted Hastings, Detective Inspector Kate Fleming and Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott.
Fans were eagerly awaiting the return on AC-12 after the last series ended almost two years ago. The first episode showed the trio 18 months after the previous series left off - where Hastings was almost declared 'H' in a set up by lawyer Gill Biggeloe.
