He plays chippy London Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott in BBC One's Line of Duty, but actor Martin Compston's real life couldn't be more different to his alter-ego's dark existence.

Born and raised in Greenock, Scotland, the 36 year old now calls Las Vegas home and lives in a stunning £300,000 mansion in an exclusive gated community.

He and his wife, Tianna Chanel Flynn, enjoy a luxe life in the City of Sin with their baby son and pet pitbull King, with the star travelling to Belfast for four months at a time when needed to reprise his role as DS Arnott.

Martin first clapped eyes on American-born Tianna on a night out in Los Angeles where she was working as a nightclub manager at Hudson Hotel.
