They were among thousands to take to Twitter after the controversial season-ender in Abu Dhabi, during which Red Bull's Verstappen was handed the chance to overlap Hamilton on the final lap following a safety car.Hamilton led the race from first corner until the penultimate lap, with Mercedes left furious that lapped cars were allowed to overtake the safety car and give Verstappen a clear run at his rival.Hamilton therefore missed out on a record eighth world title, as fresh tyres helped Verstappen, which would've seen him surpass the total he currently holds.
