The BBC telethon returned with Sir Lenny, David Tennant, Paddy McGuinness, Alesha Dixon and Davina McCall among the hosts for a star-studded night of comedy entertainment.

007 himself Daniel Craig featured in the programme as James Bond alongside Catherine Tate's foul-mouthed character Nan in a sketch for the programme.

A group of comedians were also challenged to learn and perform the song and were coached by the English National Opera and soprano Charlotte Church, while Justin Bieber gave an exclusive performance of his song Hold On during the show.
