standard.co.ukThe third Legally Blonde movie is set to have some major talent at its helm. Mindy Kaling has signed up to pen the third instalment of the popular comedy franchise alongside writer and producer Dan Goor, reports Deadline.
Kaling, 40, is currently enjoying rave reviews for her Netflix series Never Have I Ever, on which she served as co-creator, writer and executive producer.
She also served as co-creator of the 2019 mini-series of Four Weddings and a Funeral, inspired by the film of the same name, and penned the hit movie Late Night.
It is the second project Kaling has teamed up with 45-year-old Goor on, as the pair previously worked together on Kaling and Priyanka Chopra’s upcoming wedding comedy.
