The Met Gala might not be taking place next week due to the pandemic going on in the world, but that isn’t stopping stars from getting creative in lockdown.

Mindy Kaling kicked off the fun on Friday (May 1) when she joined in the #MetGalaChallenge by recreating one of Jared Leto’s most iconic looks.

Back in 2019, Jared hit the Met Ball red carpet in a Gucci ensemble which consisted of a long-sleeve silk red gown that had diamonds draped over his chest and body.

While he carried around a wax-like replica of his decapitated head which cost around $11,000 (£9,000) to make. Mindy’s look might not have been as pricey but it definitely gets a thumbs up for effort.
