In the episode, written by Julie Martin and Warren Leight (with a teleplay by Brendan Feeney, Monet Hurst-Mendoza and Candice Sanchez McFarlane), Richard Wheatley (Dylan McDermott) is on trial for Kathy Stabler’s murder.
