Amid the furore Laurence found love with fashion photographer Sara McKinnon, 39, who he was aqquainted with five months ago.
He is said to be in lockdown down with her at his London home, and friends have revealed he is "very happy" with Sara, the daughter of Emmy award-winning nature documentary producer Michael McKinnon.
