He added that “throwing the card of racism” is “really starting to get boring now." Laurence has since admitted during an interview with the Sunday Times that a mixed race woman he was dating at the time dumped him immediately after he made the controversial comments.
While he refused to go into detail about his relationship with the unidentified woman, he admitted his comments "caused a lot of stress for his family".
