Laurence Fox won an apology and £25,000 in an out-of-court settlement with actors' union Equity after the organisation branded him a "disgrace" over his controversial Question Time appearance.
The row first erupted when the actor, 41, called a audience member on the show "racist" for branding him a "privileged white male" in January.
Following the TV appearance, Equity branded Fox a "disgrace" in a number of tweets. Yesterday, Equity apologised to Fox in statement posted online and now it has emerged he won £25,000 in an out-of-court settlement with the organisation.
