Cops found 'laughing gas' in a car after a teenage girl was run over in Musselburgh. Officers were called to Inveresk Industrial Park at around 6.40pm last Wednesday after someone was reportedly hit by a car.The 16-year-old was rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with a serious injury but released a short time later.Officers searched the car and found nitrous oxide canisters inside.A 17-year-old youth has been charged with alleged dangerous driving and the supply of a psychoactive substance.A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.Chief Inspector Neil Mitchell, Area Commander said: “Nitrous Oxide, also known as laughing gas, is a psychoactive substance, which is illegal to supply or sell on.“Users can also suffer various health.
