Katie McGlynn confirms Hollyoaks exit as she teases new 'exciting opportunities'

Katie McGlynn has confirmed her exit from Hollyoaks and has teased new "exciting opportunities".The actress, 28, who played Becky Quentin on the Channel 4 soap, took to Instagram on Tuesday night to reveal it was "over and out" for her character.

Katie revealed she had joined Hollyoaks in June — 18 months after leaving Coronation Street as her role of Sinead Tinker. Posting a picture of herself as Becky, Katie penned in her social media post: "Becky Quentin, over and out! @HollyoaksOfficial.
