Kyle Lafferty has urged Connor Goldson to sign a new contract at Rangers and get them into the Champions League. The former Ibrox striker believes his old team-mate should commit his future to new boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

Goldson is out of contract next summer but so far has failed to agree a deal to stay. Next month, he can talk to other clubs and could yet link up with his old Ibrox boss Steven Gerrard, who left for Aston Villa in November.
