Kobalt has promoted Julie Hurwitz and Rob Christensen as joint leaders for the independent music company’s activities across synch and brand partnerships.
Hurwitz, previously senior VP, synch & brand partnerships, and Christensen, formerly SVP, synch operations, are named co-heads of synch and brand partnerships at Kobalt.
The incoming execs will be responsible for overseeing Kobalt Music Publishing's global synch team, spearhead the synch strategy for Kobalt and its clients, and continue “to ensure that the global team is driving creative opportunities and revenue for Kobalt’s publishing clients,” a statement reads.
