Kirsty Gallacher 'steps back' as GB News presenter after discovering ear tumour

Kirsty Gallacher has announced that she has 'stepped back' as a presenter on GB News after she discovered a tumour in her ear canal.

The TV presenter, 45, who has been a presenter on the Great British Breakfast since June 2021, shared to her 355,000 Instagram followers that she had discovered a tumour in her right inner ear canal during the summer.

However, Kirsty, who shares Jude, 11, and Oscar, four, with ex-husband Paul Sampson, revealed how the tumour is 'thankfully benign' but has led to 'severe tinnitus'.

In a statement on Friday 26 November, Kirsty penned: "During the summer I discovered that I have a tumour in the inner canal of my right ear.Thankfully, it's benign and not hugely detrimental to my normal life.
