Police have launched an appeal for information after thugs set fire to a garage in a Kilmarnock street. Police received reports of a domestic garage up in flames at a property on Barbadoes road around 11.10pm on Sunday.The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Services and luckily there were no injuries.Detective Constable Keith Hyndes, of Kilmarnock CID, said: “We are appealing to members of the public who may have any information relating to this deliberate fire.“Although this happened late at night, I would ask if anyone noticed anything suspicious in the area or has any dashcam footage that could assist with our investigation, to get in contact officers.”Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting
