Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Beer lovers could be paying up to £10.50 for a pint by 2030, experts have warned.The average cost could soar in some pubs if rampant inflation continues.UK inflation is at 5.5% but is predicted to hit a wallet-busting 7.25% this spring.Should the trend carry on, drinkers in London would have to pay £10.50 per pint as we toast a new decade.In Edinburgh, the average price would be £8.65, followed by Brighton (£8.65), Bristol (£7.91), Oxford (£7.86) and Liverpool (£7.84).The next priciest would be Birmingham (£7.81) Belfast (£7.79), Newcastle (£7.58), and Southampton (£7.54).Currently, the average cost of a pint nationally is £3.96, but this could leap to £6.93 by 2030, said market analysts Admirals.Its expert Roberto Rivero said energy prices, labour shortages and the cost of raw materials “are pushing up input costs for businesses, which in turn is putting upward pressure on price”.He added: “Rising inflation should only be transitory until the economy is used to living with Covid-19.
