Kate Garraway fights back tears as she thanks Derek's nurses who saved his life

In March Derek was hospitalised with Covid-19 and placed into intensive care.Due to social distancing restraints, Kate had never been able to meet those directly caring for her husband.
Speaking via video link on Thursday's edition of Good Morning Britain, Kate, 53, was able to personally thank those who battled to keep Derek with her in his darkest days.
Speaking via video links up and down the UK, a group of ICU carers appeared on the show to promote their charity cover of Sting classic Every Breathe You Take which they hope will make it to Christmas number one.Kate said to the staff: "It is so great.
