KATE Garraway has opened up about her "challenging" and emotional Christmas without husband Derek Draper. The 53-year-old Good Morning Britain host revealed she suffered a "calamitous" time when a pipe exploded and flooded her house.
She also explained she wasn't able to get hold of any food after failing to bag a delivery slot before Christmas. Kate has been without Derek since March when he contracted coronavirus and was rushed to hospital - where he has remained ever since.
The 53-year-old is now Britain's longest-fighting Covid-19 patient after marking a horrific six months in hospital in September.
