Premier League clubs are committed to completing the end of the current season when it is safe to do so, according to West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady.
The league is currently suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic and is not set to resume until April 30, though as it stands that date looks likely to be pushed back further.
League officials have been in regular contact with the Football League and the PFA to discuss prospective plans to how the football calendar will look in the months to come.
One concern is the financial implications affecting clubs if the situation is dragged out any longer, with one potential solution mooted is to declare the season null and void.
