Chelsea youngster Mason Mount has reportedly apologised to boss Frank Lampard after being pictured breaking his self-isolation to play football with mates.

The Blues midfielder sparked controversy amid coronavirus tensions over the weekend after he was spotted having a kick about in a London park with West Ham midfielder Declan Rice.

Mount was supposed to be self-isolating after his Chelsea team-mate Callum Hudson-Odoi tested positive for the virus earlier in the week.
