West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady has backtracked on comments she made over the weekend about declaring the Premier League season "null and void".
Football in England has been suspended until at least April 3 amid the global coronavirus pandemic. However, it’s believed that resuming the season in early April, when the initial suspension will be reviewed, will be almost impossible.
In her weekly column in Brady claimed the current campaign should be scrapped. Those comments saw her heavily criticised, given David Moyes’ side are 16th in the Premier League, above the relegation zone only by virtue of goal difference.
