JLS pop star JB Gill was sprayed in the face by thugs who broke into his family home in a 3am raid. The singer-turned-farmer was attacked as he confronted raiders at the farmhouse he shares with wife Chloe and their two children.

It was not known what was in the spray. JB, 33, was taken to hospital for treatment. Distraught Chloe, 32, was said to have been threatened with a knife before the gang of four fled with valuables from the £1.5million home.

JB and his family were “extremely shaken” but escaped serious injury. Security has now been beefed up at the secluded farmhouse.

Police are investigating and are believed to have informed the National Crime Agency — Britain’s FBI — amid fears of an organised crime gang targeting locals..
