Jlin has announced a new album called Akoma. Due out March 22 via Planet Mu, the 11-track LP will include guest appearances from Björk, Kronos Quartet, and Philip Glass, the latter of whom features on the record’s lead single.
The forthcoming release will follow the Indiana-born composer-producer’s September 2023 EP Perspective, one of The FADER’s favorite projects of the year. “The Precision of Infinity,” out today (January 18), is a four-and-a-half-minute cut that spreads Glass’s shadowy keys across thick tangles of percussion from Jlin.
