JK Rowling rakes in £637k a MONTH thanks to TV sleuth Cormoran Strike

TELLY sleuth Cormoran Strike has helped earn creator JK Rowling £637,321 a month in the past two years. Figures this week reveal she paid herself dividends of £15,295,725.

She got £12,850,000 in 2018 and £2,445,725 last year from a firm that handles her telly work. The Harry Potter creator writes Strike books under the name Robert Galbraith.

They’re made into TV shows by her production firm, Bronte Film and Television Ltd, and sold worldwide. The outfit is also behind HBO series The Casual Vacancy, and her West End Potter play.

Her latest work – the 927-page Troubled Blood – shot straight to the top of the Amazon book charts. Accounts lodged with Companies House show the firm turned over £18million last year — up from £13.5million in 2018..
