It’s well documented.“You get people who will say things just because they know that’s what people want to hear. And this is a really tricky issue.’’Mr Hall said though there was no harm in offering religious mentoring schemes, the public should be under “no illusion” they may not work.He added: “There is no magic bullet, there is no special pill you can take that de-radicalises people whether they’re coming back from overseas from Syria or being released from prison.“It’s a pretty difficult, complex and fraught process.
