Victoria was eight weeks pregnant when doctors delivered the news they couldn’t find their baby’s heartbeat at an early scan.The situation was heightened when she arrived at a procedure to remove the foetus but was told there was a heartbeat after all - only for doctors to later confirm there wasn't. “It was devastating.
People say, ‘It’s so early, it’s just a bunch of cells’, but as a woman you can’t help but get attached to what’s going on in your body," Victoria told the Mirror.
It's the second crushing miscarriage for the couple, who also lost a baby at nine weeks, before conceiving their first child Oliver, now three, in 2019.
