Former Coronation Street star Nicola Thorp has announced she is pregnant with her first child. Nicola, who played Nicola Rubinstein, the daughter of villain Pat Phelan, for nearly two years until her exit in 2019, announced the news to her followers on Instagram on Friday night (September 29).
Alongside photos of her and her actor fiance Nikesh Patel, she wrote: "Some news." Nicola, who is now a broadcaster for TalkTV, sported a red one-shoulder gown which showed off her blossoming pump as she posed alongside her beau, setting the post to the song 'Knocked Up' by Kings of Leon.
The couple were captured laughing together as Nicola cradled her belly and Nikesh smiled proudly alongside her.
