Jeremy Clarkson responds to claim he 'must replace farm roof' after planners disapprove

Jeremy Clarkson, 61, opened his Diddly Squat Farm shop in the Cotswolds last year. It’s now been claimed he has lost his appeal against a planning decision about the materials used on his roof.The materials used for the roof weren't “visually harmonious” with neighbouring Cotswolds properties, the Daily Mail online reports.The former Top Gear star was granted permission to construct the store on the understanding that any materials used for the roof would be approved by officials before work began.It is believed a building contractor was unaware of the condition and used a green steel sheet roof without permission.The father-of-three is said to have appealed to keep the cheaper roof, but this has been declined.A source told the Daily Mail.
