ITV halted coverage at 5pm on Sunday evening, to join in with the UK's celebration of the NHS on their birthday. A service that has rightfully earned much gratitude and praise during their handling of the coronavirus pandemic this year, the NHS celebrated 72 years in service on July 5.
Amid calls for more funding and support for the service and key workers, with them risking their lives to protect people during the Covid-19 lockdown, people across the UK came out in force to Clap For Carers one more time.
