A mum-of-four diagnosed with terminal cancer in April has a birthday wish - to make more memories with her children. Stacy Pentland, who turned 36 on Thursday, was told in April that the cancer would kill her.
If chemotherapy works she could have another three years but if it doesn't it will be as little as six months, reports Chronicle Live. “My birthday wish is to get to 37,” said Stacey, of Walker, Newcastle, as she choked back tears. “My kids come first and I want to be here as long as possible for them.” Stacey was fit and healthy and only hours before her diagnosis did she suffer any pain.
