In the old life, BC, I didn’t have much time for browsing. When I shopped online or, more rarely, in stores, my excursions tended to be short, sharp and to the point.
I either had a specific occasion that I wanted to buy for, or gaps that needed replenishing and that was that. I’d make a mental list, drill down relentlessly in the relevant categories, check prices across different websites… I’d become a pretty efficient shopper.
