Inside 'totally unique' £50k Cold War nuclear bunker with striking views of France

A nuclear war bunker from the Cold War has been listed for auction with a guide price of £50,000. The 15m by 15m plot of land lies in Folkestone, Kent, and is said to have stunning views of both the county and France.

Estate agents Miles and Barr said the property - which is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - "doesn't come around every day", Kent Live reports.

The 1971 bunker is located opposite the North Downs Way walking path and is apparently the last of more than 1,500 built in the UK.

A spokesman for Miles and Barr branded the site as "totally unique". He went on: "There is potential to use as a bolt hole for camping/motorhome holidays or even potential on the land for a holiday home, subject to relevant planning." Acces
