shark.Jade Pursell, 28, was diving with a friend off Ningaloo Reef in Australia on September 23 when she came across the inquisitive whale shark.Known to grow up to an astonishing 18.8m, the filter-feeding fish are the largest shark species in the world but that clearly did not phase Jade’s furry friend sailor.Adorable footage shows the dog leaning overboard to get a closer look at the 22-foot-long beast.The whale shark was more than happy to greet him and poked its head out of the water, allowing Sailor to touch its nose as if kissing it.Dive instructor Jade said: "Sailor had never met a whale shark before.
I always hoped she would but that was by far better than I had ever imagined."I was telling her not to touch it but neither of them.
