On Tuesday afternoon, Matt Hancock said the government will be giving Greater Manchester a 'strengthened package of support' to tackle the surge in coronavirus cases in the region.
That support package will consist of extra testing, military support and a school mask-wearing rule to drive down case rates.
But, it will also include new guidance asking people to keep travelling in and out of Greater Manchester to a ‘minimum’. We hit the city centre to find out what people made of the new restrictions.
