Love Island’s Demi Jones has received a devastating cancer diagnosis from doctors and urged fans to be vigilant about any warning signs when it comes to their health.
The 22-year-old took part in the dating show’s first winter series in 2020 and has revealed via her social media that she is battling a form of thyroid cancer.
Demi also told fans that she has already had a tumor removed but will need further surgery. Taking to her Instagram stories she wrote: ‘Hey guys, I got my results today and unfortunately I have Thyroid Cancer. ‘The tumour has been removed but I’m now due to have more surgery to remove the rest of my thyroid.
