A huge police response descended on Norton Street, Old Trafford, after a boy was fatally stabbed at 6pm yesterday (September 9).

On Friday morning, a police cordon was still in place on the residential road, with evidence tents still in situ. "It’s a lovely area, it’s such a shame," Peter Hoxworth said.
